Hi Friends,
Life is good at the Chamberlin home. Mom and Dad are on a roll. They have been Mr. and Mrs. Social-life for the last month or so. Whispering Wood lunches, watching bowling on Monday nights, dinners with friends, church, watching the Colts make their way to the Super Bowl...you name it, they've been doing it.
I hesitate to say they are both healthy and doing well. No - I take that back. I don't hesitate to say that! I say it with boldness and say "Thank you, God!"
Every time I tell my mom I love her, she says, "I know you do." Is that the best compliment in the world? We have had so much joy - just having the parents around for a Friday night dinner, drop in on Saturday morning or a quick daily phone call. We thank God everyday for that.
We look forward to our Alaskan cruise. Dad has already printed out a "book" of possible excursions. And what started out as Lori and my "sacrificial trip" (we are both claustrophobic on big ships in little cabins) has turned out to be one of the most exciting things on our calendar ever! That's just how good God is.
Hope this finds you all well and enjoying your new year!
Love, Audi

As always, love reading that Nelson and LaDonna are well. And I can empathize with your excitment and joy in planning the Alsakan cruise. Keep us informed as the plans unfold. And we'll look forward to the pitures of the trip down the road. Now, we'll be in prayer that all will go well and health and other factors will fall into place to all y'all to go. Bill
