Hi Friends...
It's been a while since my last update. We were in Florida on a wonderful vacation with friends. It was relaxing, fun and renewing. Like I said in an earlier post, "His mercies are new every morning..." I certainly sensed that on our vacation.
Mom continues to move along in her therapy. I was able to watch her "hand therapy" yesterday. It had been a month or so since I'd sat in on a session and the improvement was evident!
Well, since Mom is such a good driver on the Wal-Mart scooters, Dad is looking into getting her a scooter so she can scoot around at home. This would be very exciting.
Mom's spirits continue to be good. She gets out and about with Dad and we are thankful for every day we have with both of them. Thanks for all the prayers!! -- Audi

Great to hear about LaDonna and that y'all had a great and "re-creative" and renewing vacation in FL.
Especially heartening to read of your mom's progress, Audi. You know I write this on July 4th; and LaDonna (and her walk of faith) are great examples that though we're surrounded these days by the shackles of sin in our culture, we can see the Light of real freedom (i.e., in Christ) shining in the darkness in people like your mom, who exemplify Christlikenss in spite of circumstances.
And may we all walk as worthily as does LaDonna, doing all we can in the abilities we have, to do what Christ commanded in Matt. 5: 16 (which I'd bet your mom knows by heart - because she lives it!).
